Dear Parents and Caregivers,
We would like to let you know that we currently have a confirmed case of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) at the centre.
As HFMD is highly contagious and can spread easily between young children, we ask all whānau to please be aware of the signs and symptoms and monitor your child closely.
Common symptoms of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease may include:
When should my child stay home?
In accordance with New Zealand Ministry of Education guidance, children with Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease should remain away from the centre until all blisters have dried up. If the blisters can be adequately covered and your child is feeling well, they may return to the centre.
As with any illness, if your child has a fever, is unusually tired or unwell, requires additional rest, or is not well enough to participate in their usual activities, please keep them at home until they have recovered.
We ask that you please monitor your child for any symptoms and let us know if they develop Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease. We will continue to follow our usual cleaning, hygiene and infection-control practices at the centre to help minimise the spread of illness.

A friendly reminder to please drop off and collect your child within their enrolled hours.
We understand that unexpected delays can happen from time to time. If you know you are running late for pick-up, please phone the centre as soon as possible so we know when your child is being collected.
Recently, we have noticed an increase in children arriving before their booked start time and being collected after their booked finish time. While we understand that occasional circumstances can arise, consistently attending outside of enrolled hours makes it difficult for us to manage staffing ratios and the smooth operation of the centre.
If your child's attendance regularly falls outside of their enrolled hours, we will contact you to discuss updating your enrolment to better reflect the hours your child is attending. If late pick-ups continue to be an ongoing issue across the centre, the Committee may need to consider introducing a late collection fee. This is not something we wish to implement, but it may become necessary to ensure fairness for all families and to cover the additional staffing time required.
We appreciate your understanding and co-operation and thank you for helping us ensure all tamariki attend within their enrolled hours. Your support helps the centre continue to operate smoothly and provide the best possible care for all our whānau.

Dear Parents & Caregivers,
This is a friendly reminder that weekly invoices and statements are emailed to the email address you have provided. Please ensure you check these each week and keep your account up to date. If you are not receiving these emails, please let us know as soon as possible so we can check that we have the correct email address on file and ensure you continue to receive your invoices and statements.
If you currently have any outstanding fees on your account, we ask that these are brought up to date as soon as possible.
To help keep accounts current and to avoid overdue balances, we ask that all families make weekly payments towards their fees. Setting up an automatic payment is the easiest way to do this, ensuring your weekly fees are paid on time without the need for reminders.
As a non-profit, community-based early learning centre, we rely not only on Ministry funding but also on the timely payment of fees from our families. These payments are essential in helping us meet our day-to-day operating costs and continue providing a high-quality learning environment for all of our tamariki.
